"To any couple looking here for a celebrant - look no further!

We just had the absolute best wedding day. Helen captured so much emotion and tenderness in her ceremony,  and then delivered it so smoothly. Thank you Helen for lending your perfecting touch to our special day. "  (Isabelle & Alvin 2025)

France is a truly romantic location to have your wedding.  With fairytale chateaux, shimmering fields of sunflowers and lavender, pretty medieval villages - not to mention delicious food - it is a perfect place to make your dream wedding come true!

As an independent English and bilingual celebrant based in South West France, I write and deliver  beautiful and personal ceremonies for all occasions.  Every couple is special and every love story unique, which is why I am passionate about creating the perfect ceremony to reflect your love, your joy and your story, on your most special day.

Whether you would like to organise a funeral in a Crematorium, in a field, have your own 'living funeral', or simply organise a memorial in your home for a dearly departed loved one, I will create a unique and respectful ceremony giving honour and gratitude for their life.

Helen Butler did an incredible job for the family on the day of Jan’s funeral. As well as being celebrant on the day, she also helped hugely with the whole organisation of our beloved Jan's funeral.  As celebrant, her introduction and welcoming were pitch perfect. .. We all felt so blessed to have Helen and so appreciative for all that she did for us.

It was exceptional.   Lisa  (2023)
