My wife as I loved working with Helen from start to finish.
She’s exactly the kind of celebrant we were looking for: warm, intuitive, funny and with a lot of gravitas.
We really valued the time that she took to get to know us both through video calls and also questionnaires. It meant she created a unique service that really captured our relationship.
Her first draft script was brilliant, but she was genuinely keen to hear any feedback we had and was very happy to incorporate this. There was never any push back or ego.
At a very late stage, unfortunately we lost the permission to get married in a church as planned. Helen really went above and beyond here, supporting us in conversations to try and understand what options we had.
In the end, our back up plan ended up being much more special than the original and she played a big role in this, supporting us throughout.

"Frankly Helen was perfect!
My wife Holly and I were wed at Lartigolle Chateau, Aug 24th 2024 with Helen running the show for us on the day.
I've been to many weddings and sometimes I've honestly been a little bored in the ceremony part with a droning celebrant or vicar. Trust me when I say Helen is light hearted and clever with her words.
The wedding party was engaged with every word she spoke (except my nephew who slept throughout) and this comes from the attention to detail Helen put in when getting to know us.
Helen is clearly in touch with modern life and the ability to work remotely and at are our pace was well needed and well executed. (It even taught me a bit of IT skills).
I can't recommend her any more highly, every detail of our wedding day was perfect (no bias here, we've been told by our guests and now want to brag about it), but Helen had the very difficult job of kicking it all off. She done that immaculately, thank you Helen. I hope many many many more couples get the benefit of your care, experience, time and the love your poured into our ceremony.

Helen was recommended to us by our wedding venue - Chateau de Puissentut, we met with her when we went to view the venue for the first time. We instantly connected with Helen over a glass of Floc (the local tipple!) in Auch. She was so welcoming and really took the time to ask us all about ourselves and our plans for the wedding.
After this we knew immediately that we wanted Helen to officiate our ceremony and she was the first person we booked for the wedding 18 months before the big day."
Helen was also very helpful with our planning of the wedding as she gave us recommendations for other suppliers.
When we came to discussing the format of the ceremony Helen had a great depth of knowledge of what we could include, such as the hand fasting ritual we had and how to structure the readings and vows.
She really wanted to get to know us and ensure that the ceremony reflected who we are.
The day before the wedding Helen joined us at the venue for a rehearsal of the ceremony which was a great opportunity to run through the events and practice the all important walk down the aisle!
On the wedding day Helen checked in with us ahead of the ceremony and helped us feel at ease. The ceremony was delivered beautifully and many of the guests fed back to us how much they enjoyed it and how personable they felt she was.
The little touches really made a difference like displaying the readings in a nice booklet and providing us with our certificate in a lovely folder along with the rope from our hand fasting ritual to keep.
We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant, Helen delivered the ceremony just how we imagined and more.

"Helen was our celebrant for our Provence wedding and she was so sweet and caring.
From the beginning she gave advice and helped us to shape the ceremony to be more like us and our love story.
She replies fast and is very organized, she printed everything out for us and also for our families who read a poem on our ceremony. Very beautiful booklet, so everything looked nice and elegant also on the pictures.
She spoke very clear and also helped us to calm our nerves when we spoke (I am scared of public speaking) so she was very calm and assuring when I spoke my vows and my love letter.
Our friends and families were really impressed by Helen and the ceremony as they felt the emotion and it was such a magical ceremony - like a dream!
These moments and emotions are really to cherish for a lifetime and we are so grateful for Helen.

"Helen Butler did an incredible job for the family on the day of Jan’s funeral. As well as being celebrant on the day, she also helped hugely with the whole organisation of our beloved Jans funeral.
